Extraordinary and rare antique oval 800 silver snuff box featuring two mythic satyr heads and beautiful deep green large agate stone. Finely done with embossed decorative elements on every surface -- except the bottom of the case. Encircling the box are two beautifully embossed satyr faces, along with geometric squares and acanthus leaves. Around the massive stone is an engraved decorative pattern. There is gold vermeil on the inside of the box and a silver 800 hallmark on the inside rim. This box is 1.5" x 2".
