Superb embossed thistles decorate antique silver plate quatrefoil French patch box. The front is a beauitful singular thistle stalk with flowering heads and sumptuous leaves. The entire back and sides are embossed with fanciful Art Nouveau arabesque decorations. On the inside of the lid is a beveled mirror in perfect condition. Feels substantial and good in the hand.
