Superb and regal and one- of-a-kind enamel French nineteenth century brass compact with exquisitely rendered portrait of a woman. Surrounding the portrait is beautifully multi-colored wave and flower pattern which are encircled by embossed flour de lys. The back features an embossed central sword and crown with two large fleur de lys on either side. The case feels substantial and good in the hand. Mirror inside.
