Patchouli Spice highlights aged wood, smooth powdery dark patchouli and soft antique spices that emit the origin of their sources rather than the end product: earth, plant and wood. The light weight oil glides on effortlessly and sinks into the skin like a lover's touch, deep and nourishing. There is an indulgence here. A velvety fragrance trail of plushness that gets imparted from warm hands to body, translated into self-adulation, luxurious pampering, personal inventory of sensation. Patchouli Spice offers the perfect meditative vehicle for just that experience. -- The Redolent Mermaid
Upon opening the bottle I was greeted with a brighter scent than I had anticipated, it is spicy in a cheery way and made me smile. I immediately planned a “patchouli massage” to give and one to receive. I was completely mollified by the scent. -- Perfume Pharmer
The indelible patchouli – known to treat acne, cracked, chapped skin – brings a musky darkness... The oils have an astonishing texture, just enough slip to be able to get a good massage action going and for it to absorb well, but not so greasy that it leaves an oily residue. Skin is left plumped and dewy, feeling softer and more hydrated after a few hours. The calming compositions are brilliantly mesmerizing as the veil of scents last much longer than that of other oils. At the end of my tutorial, I can identify my two faves—the Rose and the Patchouli Spice -- Beauty Huile
I am very much a natural girl when it comes to beauty products... I love Aftelier natural perfumes. Especially Lumiere and the Patchouli spice body oil and hair elixir. -- Kirsty Hume in Harper's Bazaaar
