1880's French Limoges enamel bronze compact with beautiful woman's portrait, surrounded by faux pearls and blue gems. Her hat and dress are glowing and look like they are lit from within and beautiful with sparkling acid green and pink foil. Her hat and face are hand-painted. The original beveled mirror encircled in golden rope is in almost perfect condition, with no fogging, chips or cracks. Chased designs on the bronze on all three sides edging decoration of finely-detailed embossed edging decoration. Elegant oval shape. This case is 1.75" long and 1.4" wide and .5" deep., and the price includes 1/4 oz (8 ml) solid perfume of your choice. The compact is in very nice vintage condition. The Limoges enamel is in excellent condition with no losses to the enamel and no dulling. .
